I have known this 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 Convertible for 40 years. The classic muscle car showed up for sale in the Charlotte Observer about 1985 while I was living there. It was two hours away, in Stanford NC…and a good friend of mine in Charlotte beat me to it! The original lady owner used it sparingly, it was mostly their beach car! It sat covered up in my friends carport for the next 8-10 years. Since then it has had several owners until another good friend, the present owner, purchased it and had a professional frame off restoration completed on it.  Very high level, and correctly done. Just beautiful. Pictures don’t do justice! Lots and lots of paperwork though the years, including the all important protect o plate. All matching numbers including carburetor and distributor. However, the factory swapped 2 numbers on the block deck when they put the numbers on. I have seen this before more than once. Back then, they were just cars. It IS the original engine!Lots of options including AC, power windows, tilt wheel, tach and gauges,  disc brakes and ” space saver ” spare tire! Pretty sure it has all the original rust free floors and sheet metal. I do note that it has GM replacement fenders, and also the original owner had the hood replaced back in the very early 70s from a garage mishap. ( The good news is, the car was garage- kept! ) Come see the car, it is stored in my warehouse in NW Pennsylvania. I have a lift too. No disappointments!
